Our story

From a workshop in Montepulciano, to your wrist

RAMINA began with Ettore, a coppersmith who hammered pots and stills for the farms around Montepulciano. His daughter Adele turned the offcuts into bracelets, and never stopped. Her granddaughter Livia convinced her the world could see them without coming to Tuscany.

The Coppersmith

Ettore Ravaldi opens his workshop on Via del Teatro. For forty years he hammers copper into pots and alembics for the farms around Montepulciano. The forge is still there.

The First Bracelet

At nineteen, Adele shapes an offcut from her father's sheet into a bracelet for her mother Rosa — who had worn a copper band since girlhood. From then on, Adele makes only jewelry: sheet, hammer, anvil, time.

The Opening

Livia comes home from Bologna and opens the workshop to the world. The series stay small and numbered. Pick any three pieces, pay for one — the way a workshop welcomes a new wrist.
